Estimator | Land Development Project Manager | Designer I


Estimator

Job Type: Full-Time

Hubble Homes is expanding its Estimating Department and is currently seeking qualified candidates for a new estimating position.

Essential Duties and Repsonsibilities:

PREPARE QUANTITY ESTIMATES

  • Performs and maintains accurate quantity take-offs for all plans, elevations and options.
  • Creates and maintains accurate product and service database for budgets and purchase orders.
  • Monitors and ensures accuracy of quantity quotes submitted by vendors and subcontractors.
  • Manage Community specific requirements, CC&R’s, and other lot specific costs.
  • Communicates and works with Purchasing Manager to organize and maintain bid documents, product, and service information including specifications and scopes of work.
  • Reports weekly progress to Estimating Manager.

PRODUCE ACCURATE BUDGETS

  • Produce accurate budgets to ensure purchase orders accurately reflect what products and options are going into the house.

DATABASE MAINTENANCE

  • Performs database maintenance to ensure accurate parts and assemblies.

QUALITY CONTROL

  • Review showroom menu, plans and specifications, ACC submittals, purchase orders, sales contracts and addendums to ensure paperwork is correct, and homes are built correctly.

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS

  • College Education in construction field is preferred.
  • Experience in residential and/or commercial construction and subcontracting preferred.
  • Experience in the estimating preferred
  • Must possess strong problem solving, analysis & communication skills, as well as an attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent computer, spreadsheet and Auto-cad skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to gain a broad-based understanding of the organization, business plans and visions of the company along with priorities of the President is imperative.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work closely and confidently with a wide variety of individuals.

Land Development Project Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Hubble Homes, a leader in the home building industry in Boise and throughout the Treasure Valley, is expanding its Land Development operations! We are seeking an experienced Land Development Project Manager who will develop raw land and install infrastructure to prepare for the construction of homes.

Required experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 5 years of land development project management, surveying or engineering experience.
  • Competency in reading civil engineering drawings and performing material take-offs.
  • Excellent organizational skills, is a self-starter and can manage/structure their own time

The Land Development Project Manager will manage the planning, development, and build-out of lots for Land Development projects. The Land Development Project Manager will serve the Idaho Treasure Valley's residential market in partnership with the Land Development team.

Designer I

Job Type: Full-Time

Hubble Homes is expanding its Design department. We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill a position as Designer I.

Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, the Designer I prepares clear, complete and accurate working plans and detailed drawings of residential homes and home sites using current design software. Designer I will also prepare and manage the permit and superintendent packages including plans, reports and applications.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Auto-CAD, Revit, drafting, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
  • Basic drafting knowledge, proficient with computer-aided drafting and printing.
  • Ability to work with many people in a high pressure situation.
  • Must possess strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
