Hubble Homes Supports Local Charities with Back-To-School Fundraisers
Hubble Homes is proud to support local charities with their back-to-school fundraisers collecting backpacks and school supplies. The Hubble team collected and donated 250 backpacks and supplies.
- 150 backpacks and supplies went to the Kiwanis Club in Meridian to help out high school students all throughout the state of Idaho.
- 100 backpacks and supplies went to the Canyon County Juvenile Probation Center for elementary school kids celebrating August National Truancy Prevention month.
The Canyon County Juvenile Probation Department is celebrating August National Truancy Prevention month. Hubble Employees filled backpacks with all of the necessary school supplies for kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade and donated them to the Canyon County Probation Department’s School Drive.
The Canyon County Juvenile Probation Department is hosting the 7th Annual Back to School Kickoff Event in Caldwell this weekend to celebrate National Truancy Prevention Month and help encourage kids to stay in school. The family-friendly event features a kickball tournament, plenty of free food, backpacks, and school supplies.
When: Saturday, August 13, from 10 AM –2 PM
Where: Griffiths Park, 2218 Griffiths Parkway, Caldwell
The goal of the event is to raise awareness and build partnerships in the community to remove barriers and encourage children to stay in school.
Kiwanis Club in Meridian supplies the West Ada School District with backpacks full of the needed school supplies for Middle and High School students. They do this every July and get them to the schools prior to registration so they can be given to any students in need of the supplies.
