Hubble Homes donates $378K to Treasure Valley charities on Giving Tuesday
In honor of Giving Tuesday, an annual tradition on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving when people around the world are encouraged to donate to a good cause, Hubble Homes with the support of our trade partners donated the proceeds of the Hubble Hero House to the seven Treasure Valley charities.
Our Hubble Hero House in south Nampa sold for $378,000 at the end of November to the highest bidder, and all of the proceeds were given to local charities that provide shelter and food for residents in need in our community.
Don Hubble and his executive team delivered checks in the amount of $54,000 to each of the following non-profit organizations:
- Boise Rescue Mission Ministries
- The Idaho Foodbank
- Star Outreach
- Meridian Foodbank
- Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho
- St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho
- Salvation Army Nampa Corps
Hubble Homes teamed up with over 47 of our trade vendors and subcontractors to build this home. Because of their generosity in donating their time, services, and materials, we were able to give away the full value of the house to the charities. We are so thankful and wanted to take this opportunity to say Thank You to all of our Trade Partners who supported us to build this home. We could not have done this without you.
Hubble Homes is passionate about the communities we build in. The opportunity to give back through the Heart of Hubble program helps us improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods, give back to the community, and create a culture of giving within our company. “Since Hubble’s beginning, we have donated more than $1,706,016 to valley charities and we are proud that Hubble Hero Home sale has added to this number,” said Don Hubble, President and Founder of Hubble Homes.
