Hubble Homes president and founder Don Hubble receives Humanitarian Award
Hubble Homes president and founder Don Hubble was awarded the Humanitarian Award from the BCA of Southwestern Idaho. The Humanitarian Award is an award that recognizes the work of individuals in communities who are devoted to the welfare of humanity.
In 2020, Hubble Homes was able to do spread hope and support the community through our "Heart of Hubble" program, Hubble Homes charitable giving program, including the Hubble Hero House, Employee Giving program and Hubble Grants, which all contributed to Don Hubble receiving the award.
Hubble Homes and its trade partners donated the proceeds of the Hubble Hero House, a specially built home, to seven Treasure Valley charities. The Hubble Hero Home located at Southern Ridge in south Nampa sold for $378,000, all of which was given to the following local non profit organizations that provide shelter and food for residents in need:
Boise Rescue Mission Ministries
The Idaho Foodbank
Star Foodbank
Meridian Foodbank
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho
St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho
Salvation Army Nampa Corps
“One of our unifying principles is that we contribute to the communities we do business in,” said Don Hubble. "We are thankful that we as a company were able to come together and support our community, especially in these difficult times.”
